Have you already taken down all your Christmas decor? I am still in the process of putting away our decor this year and it’s mainly because I wanted to make it more organized and more easily accessible for next year. I found some products on Amazon and wanted to share them with you in case you are trying to also figure out a more streamline way to organize all the decor.
We purchased two of these waterproof outdoor deck boxes a few years ago and love them! We store ours in our sunroom and use them to store holiday decor. Storing holiday decor like this makes it so much easier than toting heavy boxes into our attic (no basement here in FL). I found that these deck boxes easily fit four 12 gallon plastic bins with extra room to spare for additional pieces (like wreathes). This year though our Christmas tree box fell apart, so I decided to put our 7ft tree in one of the deck boxes. I looked into storage bags for Christmas trees and liked the storage bag with wheels but the reviews said it didn’t have much structure! With artificial trees being so heavy and awkward to carry, that wasn’t for me! So, I figured I’d rearrange our deck boxes and see if our tree would fit and I’m happy to report not only did it fit… I also still had room for one of my 12 gallon plastic bins.
This year I added these ornament cubes to our storage collection. We originally had two huge plastic bins filled with lots of little boxes that held all our fragile ornaments. I am very impressed with how much space these cubes save! Also, these cubes are well made and I feel confident that our fragile ornaments will be protected in their individual cells.
For years, decades really 🙂 haha…sorry, I had to 😉 I’ve stored my nail polish collection in one of those plastic shower caddies. It was a hot mess every time I’d try to take the caddy in & out of our bathroom cabinet with nail polishes falling everywhere 🙁 . These plastic stackable boxes are amazing! They are the perfect height to store nail polish in! I have my nail polish collection in one and my daughter’s kid-friendly collection in the other. From my dual-side makeup mirror, dual brush holder, three tiered makeup drawers, an angled open makeup organizer (I placed on top of the two makeup drawers), mini skin-care fridge (if you missed the post on this awesome mini-fridge, you can read it here), makeup sponge holder, & the lipstick holder. Sorry, the lipstick holder definitely needs to be cleaned! EEK!
If you have pets, Amazon is also a great place to find affordable pet items! I laughed when my husband (who denies buying it 😉 LOL- he has a love/hate relationship with our cat) bought this cat stand/bed! It reminds me of a baby pack n play, doesn’t it? 🙂 LOL Our cat absolutely LOVES it though! He can cuddle inside, perch on top, and has a moon play toy! Our dog beds are also Amazon finds as well as these super ADORABLE pillows (pillow insert, no humans allowed on the couch & embrace the pet hair). I personally love the fun sayings! Plus, it’s a win/win- our dog loves laying on our couch pillows, so we bought these so he has his own pillows and doesn’t lay on ours 🙂 LOL.
If you have a large breed dog, it’s easier on their bodies & necks to eat and drink from raised bowls. I found these raised food bowls on Amazon for a fraction of the price that you’d pay at a pet store. I also loved the design. Over the years we have purchased dog toys and cat toys from Amazon as well.
