Target Spring Try-On @ Home #2

Even though our state is slowly starting to open back up with “social distancing” guidelines in place~ arrows to direct traffic flow direction in each isle, stop here tape in checkout lines, plexiglass partitions between the cashier & the customer, and some shoppers are wearing masks while others are not ~ I honestly prefer to just order online. Anyone else feel the same way?

I went to our local Publix yesterday and I was so disheartened to see how shoppers were treating each other. There was a mom with two teenage girls with her and they were refusing to follow the “social distancing” guidelines (going up down isles, no masks, getting in other people’s space, etc…) and this kind older women nicely pointed out that they were going the incorrect way in the isle. The mother laughed, raised her voice and rudely said “I guess I can’t read!” and continued on…. Sorry, but that is NOT a good example for your teenage girls! Wow! Rant over… 🙂

This post was about a Target Try-On… So, let’s get to it 🙂 If you missed my last Target Spring @ Home Try-On (click the highlighted text). I also always post my finds on Instagram! I would love for you to follow me on IG if you are not already! 🙂

Some of these finds that I’m sharing have been going in and out of stock quickly. So, if you like it click the link and don’t want to purchase it! I literally stalked some of these items 🙂 Haha!

It was complete coincidence that I ordered patriotic colored dresses 🙂 LOL. How cute would this beautiful dress be for the 4th of July though?! I bought the dress a size down (Med.) because it was flowy but it is tighter in the bust. So, if you are larger busted, you’ll definitely want to get your usual size. I paired it with my favorite Steve Madden dupe sandals (TTS) & this dainty three bird necklace!

This gorgeous floral dress I stalked! It was always out of stock when I looked (OH NO- it’s out of stock AGAIN, sorry. Here are similar dress options!).

UPDATED 5/20- this dress is back IN STOCK!

So, when it came in stock I ordered it in a Med. & Lg. because I wasn’t sure which size would fit better. Both actually fit but the Med. is a little bit constricting in the waist, so I prefer the Lg. (usual size) more. I paired it with these super comfortable dressy wedges (TTS)!

Do you prefer lower dress wedges or higher dress shoes? Either way, both of these affordable dress shoes are super comfortable & fit TTS!

This is my usual daily outfit lately 🙂 You can either find me in a cute graphic tank with my favorite jean shorts or in leggings! (All fit TTS). I ordered the tank a size larger (XL) because I wanted it oversize for leggings/working out! If you want a normal everyday tank look, I’d order in your usual size.

I have been debating on slip on sneakers for awhile. I love the way they look on other people but I wasn’t sure if I’d like them on me or if they would be comfortable! OH MY goodness I’m so glad I tried these snake print slip ons! They have a gel like memory foam on the bottom and are extremely comfortable! I read the reviews and they are correct, you need to size DOWN! I usually wear a 8.5 in sandals but when I buy sneakers I wear a 9-9.5. I ordered a 8.5 in these and they fit perfectly! So, I’d say whatever size you wear in sandals, you should buy in these sneakers. I paired the sneakers with my favorite tank (a light sweater light material, drapes beautifully and does not cling!) and these jean shorts or jeans (I just rolled the leg up).

Do you prefer gold or silver? I love both! How cute is this dupe for the popular Kendra Scott necklace? It comes in other color options too! This is a close up for the dainty three bird necklace (worn above).

I was SO excited to receive these cookbooks (Volume 1 & Volume 2) from my husband & kids for Mother’s Day! I asked on IG if any of you have tried the recipes yet and which ones I should start with…. the answer was banana bread & chocolate chip cookies! So, I’ll definitely try those first 🙂 plus, I know those will both be a hit with my kids!

These books are also offered at Target! Volume 1 & Volume 2

Have any of you bought any items from their Target line, Home & Hearth? I’d love to know what you bought and where you put it in your home! If you own the cookbooks, what recipes are your favorite? Please share in the comments below!
